Properties Lore of Crystal Formations

Crystals have intuitively and traditionally been seen as having metaphysical properties that come from their shape or formation, as well as from the type of crystal. Here are some of the possible formations and their associated metaphysical and healing properties lore.

Absent at Photo Time Sorry, No Picture Yet	Lineated Crystal A crystal with parallel raised or indented lines (rectilinear, not sprays or other directions) that are not "etched". Properties Lore: Lineated crystals are considered crystals of dexterity and rapid movement. They are used by Native Americans to trace lineage and confirm lineage, and dedicated to Fox. Lineated crystals are used for Spirtual journeys, divination, intuitive knowledge of "right action". In business, they are said to improve working areas and relationships as well as business skill. Physically, lineated crystals are used in crystal healing for insulin regulation, kidneys, blood, to stop fevers and ease emphysema, improvement of eyesight, Parkinson's disease, ease of childbirth.

Manifestation crystals are believed to help with manifestation of blessings and wishes. They are also believed to help people who have had a traumatic childhood, physically or emotionally. They are helpful for people who are blocking painful memories. They help bring the cause of the pain to the surface and allow the person to successfully deal with it, while shielding that person from the pain those memories can cause.

Click to Enlarge in a New Window	Parent (Parent / Child) Parent (or parent / child) crystals are what I call twin crystals where one of the crystals is significantly larger than the other, like a parent is larger than their small child. Twin crystals assist in building relationships of all kinds. Parent crystals are particularly useful, I find, in working with parent/child relationships and enhancing those relationships.

Properties Lore: Phantom crystals are wonderful awareness tools. They can give a sense of magic that most of us have lost along the course of our lives. Phantom crystals can help us increase awareness of evolution, in ourselves and in the world around us, showing how growth, rest, and rebirth cycle through all existence. Psychically, phantoms are considered excellent for past life work and meditation, and is valuable for the mystic or spiritual seeker. Physically, crystal healing and folk lore say that phantom crystals are excellent for initiating healing, bringing great energy to the healing process, and are especially helpful for hearing disorders and emotional healing.

They can lighten one's mood and bring happiness. They can be used to remove negative energy for a person, environment, or situation. They are excellent for people dealing with grief or depression. They can help one see the positive in suffering or illness. They can be used in healing with any or all chakras.

Properties Lore: A recordkeeper crystal spiritually stores information needed by the person it comes to. Information can be received through meditation with the crystal.

Properties Lore: Right activation (time link to the future) crystals increase right brain functions, and are also said to create a time link with the future. This time link is said to be useful for channeling information regarding future events.

Properties Lore:Scepter crystals are popularly believed to have been used by the priests/priestesses of Atlantis and Lemuria. They remind you of who you are and why you are here, and give courage, particularly to take action. Scepter crystals help one establish a firm connection to the "true self".
