These are natural, raw, and/or rough crystals and stones that are ready for a new home. Natural in this context indicates that they are not carved or polished. Most are entirely natural, with no known treatments or enhancements because they are enhanced at the origin and no one is told, but if we do know of ones that have been enhanced, we'll let you know.

These okenite specimens are from India. Okenite always amazes me because it looks so soft and fluffy, but it's a natural rock! Okenite is a Zeolite, so it has Zeolite energy as well as its own particular energy. These specimens range in size from 1.25" to 3" at the largest point, with most having matrix that the okenite grows on and a few having no matrix visible.

Orange Millennium™ is a recent find. It is a form of round crystallized carnelian nodules, only found in the high desert of the U.S. South West. Most are like orange berries in shape, but some are more oblong, with an occasional unusual piece being almost hot dog shaped. I find the energies of Orange Millennium to be great stress relievers. Size is roughly .25 - .5 inch each.

Mexican Opal in Matrix

These are chunks of rough, natural Mexican Opal in matrix. They of course come from Mexico. Mexican Opal is also known as Mexican Fire Opal and Cantera Opal. The only real difference is the amount of opal in relation to the matrix. The larger pieces that are orange-red that are often taken and made into cabochons are called Mexican Fire Opal. The smaller pieces are called Cantera Opal, and are occasionally made into smaller cabochons. When the opal is white to clear, it's called Mexican Water Opal. These specimens run from 1" to 1 3/4" (25mm - 44m) at their largest point. The amount of matrix in each of these specimens will vary widely and each piece will show opal.

These are clusters of prehnite from India. They come in both flatter as in the thumbnail above, and more pointy stalactite type formations as in Photo 4, which I find fascinating! Coloring ranges from white with just a tiny hint of green to light green. Prehnite is a Zeolite, so it has Zeolite energy as well as its own particular energy.These clusters range in size from 1.25" to 3" at the largest point, with many having no matrix.

These are clusters of rehnite and apophyllite naturally grown together. The sparkle of the apophyllite sets off the fascinating formations of the prehnite. Prehnite and Apophyllite are Zeolites, so these clusters have Zeolite energy as well as the particular energy of the Prehnite and Apophyllite. These clusters range in size from 1.25" to 3" at the largest point, with some to no matrix. The photos are representative examples, just to show you some of the possible formations and colors.

Peruvian pyrite tends to form in tiny cubic crystals which make up massive, sparkly chunks. Pyrite is, of course, also known as fool's gold and has a goldish-bronzie luster. I had a good friend ask me one time how anyone could possibly mistake pyrite for gold since they don't really look alike. My guess at it was that say 100 or even 50 years ago, gold was not as commonly available as it is now, only the rich had it, so most likely the "common people" had only seen real gold either from a distance or just a couple times in their lifes. That's my guess, and I'm sticking to it ... at least until I can find a more accurate answer! Current stock is approximately 1" (25.4mm) size.

Quantum Quattro Silica™ is a combination of minerals: royal blue shattuckite, robin egg blue chrysacola, forest green dioptase, in smoky quartz with pastel light green malachite. The only known source for Quantum Quattro Silica is from Namibia, and unfortunately it is not being mined and coming out of the country any more. So it's getting harder and harder to get, especially with great color like this. These are really nice chunks, notice the deep rich color that most have. We have had chips but weren't sure what to do with them, so we're now making them available in sets of 5 or 10 in a pouch.
May 09 - We just found a handful of Large Size Quantum stuck in a bag with some other stones. They were hiding from us! Well, we just about fainted. Then we decided it must be time now for them to find homes, since they suddenly showed up out of nowhere.
Small size: Approximately 0.9 " - 1.7 " (23.8mm - 44.8mm) at the longest point.
X-small size: Approximately from 0.5" - .75" ( 12.8mm - 19.0mm) at the longest point.
