The Elements and Stones

Crystals and stones have been used in the art of alchemy and magick for ages. Different stones are traditionally associated with different elements of nature. The traditional four elements in Western culture are Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Spirit, or Akasha, is the fifth element, that has been recognized more in the New Age than in older traditions, as the "glue" that binds all together.
