Handmade Pendant / Slide for Necklaces

In Delicate Blues, the delicate colors of the natural and dyed blue chalcedony in this pendant are just highlighted by the neon blue of the dangling single apatite bead. I handcrafted this pendant from the beads of blue chalcedony, apatite, and sterling silver, with tarnish-resistant .925 Argentium sterling silver and hair thin .999 fine silver. After many hours of patient weaving and coiling this ultra-thin wire, Delicate Blues was born. I chose the Argentium sterling and fine silver because both are extremely tarnish-resistant. That makes this piece a very easy one to keep and wear.

This pendant is approximately 4.1" (105.4 mm) long including and dangles bail which will accommodate chains up to approximately 8 mm in size. Interestingly enough, the elegant linear form of this piece makes it less bulky looking that you would think at this size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain or add an inexpensive accessory to make it a very versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stones, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with lessening of anger and irritation.
