I love the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkein and periodically get to make pieces that is inspired by the books and characters. This one is inspited by Eowyn of the Rohirrim who fought so mightily with despair, and evokes an evensong she might sing to fight her depression. In that vein, the stones and blessings of this piece come together to bring energies to relieve depression.

Materials Used to Create This Jewelry:
Genuine Clear Quartz DT (drilled), Blue faceted Sapphire, Yellow Sapphire faceted, as well as genuine faceted Green Tourmaline and White Topaz; faceted genuine Iolite (aka "water sapphire") beads; and antiqued .925 Sterling Silver settings and wire.
A black satin cord for necklace wear is also included.

Size: This pendant is approxiately 2.5" (63.6 mm) from the top of the bail. The bail will accommodate a chain of approximately 5.5 mm diameter. Included satin cord is approximtaely 36" and can be tied or cut to virtually any length desired.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stones, I created this jewelry with prayer and intent that the Divine bless this jewelry that the wearer be favored with the highest and best blessings to relieve depression.

Metaphysical, Mystical, & Spiritual Healing Properties Lore:

Sapphire is a stone of creative expression, intuition, and meditation, and enhances all those things. Sapphire is corundum, and comes in virtually any color of the rainbow including blue, pink, purple, orange (Padparadsha), green, colorless, and red (known as ruby). Sapphire is beneficial for mental clarity and depression. Physically it is good for lowering fevers and inflammation, hearing problems, cancer, and burns. Sapphire is associated with the brow chakra.
