Handmade Pendant / Slide for Necklaces

Enjoy the luscious elegancy of Malawi blue chalcedony with this elegant and unusual pendant / Slide. Eye of Malawi is a pendant I handcrafted from a gorgeous Malawi blue chalcedony cabochon and tarnish-resistant Argentium® silver genuine .925 sterling silver wire. Many thanks to Isaac LeFever for inspiring me to find a way to use this coiling style to set a cabochon.

This pendant is approximately 1.5" (38.9 mm) long including bail which will accommodate chains up to approximately 8 mm in size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain, or you can add an inexpensive accessory like a bar pin to use it as a brooch, to make it an even more versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with mind/body/spirit balance.

Blue chalcedony is a stone with a gentle energy that feels kind of dreamy. It fosters balance between mind, body and spirit. It also helps reduce or eliminate bad dreams by getting rid of the influences that cause them. Blue chalcedony has a very protective property, which is evidenced in both the physical and emotional realms, and it is used often for protection from the evil eye and protection from evil, particularly evil magic. Physically, blue chalcedony has been used for the eyes, open sores rapid healing, alzheimers, lactation, blood, circulation, bones, spleen, and gall bladder.

Silver is a mineral that is said to mirror the soul, strengthen the connection between astral and physical bodies, and enhance intuitive and psychic energies.
