Ishtar's Breath
Handmade Pendant / Slide for Necklaces

This striking pendant / slide is named for the ancient Sumerian goddess Ishtar, who was goddess of love and war, so that this piece, her "breath" could bring love to the wearer.

I handcrafted from a jade cabochon, a rare faceted blue fluorite, a tiny amethyst briolette, and .925 Sterling Silver, using no solders or glues, just the skillful design of the wire to hold the stones securely.

This pendant is approximately 2.6" (66 mm) long including bail which will accommodate chains up to approximately 5 mm in size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain or add an inexpensive accessory to make it a very versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with love.
