"Rejuvenation"

This is a dainty pendant / slide that I design and craft by hand, using only simple hand tools. It's a great gift for kitty lovers, as well as a nifty collar charm for cats. "Orinch" is a word I learned from one of my blogging cat friends, who, of course is an orinch (orange) striped tabby! It was so cute I just had to use it.

Beads: Natural Carnelian, Glass;
.925 Sterling Silver wire and clasp assembly.

Size: This pendant is approxiately .9" (23.9 mm) excluding the clasp and slit ring (both of which can be removed the same way a key is removed from a keyring).

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stones, I created this piece with prayer and intent that the Divine bless the wearer with the highest and best blessings of rejuvenation.

Metaphysical, Mystical, & Spiritual Healing Properties Lore:

Carnelian is an agate class of chalcedony that is a stone of creativity, individuality and courage. Like all agates, it has protection energies. It can aid memory, including recall of past lives. It can assist one in finding the right mate. It is also a stone of protection in general and from anger, jealousy and fear. In addition it can help with manifestation of one's desires, and brings good luck. Carnelian can help ease or remove sorrows. It also helps stabilize energies in the home. It is sometimes called the "actor's stone". Carnelian is associated with the root and sacral chakras. Physically, carnelian has been used to heal open sores, rejuvenate tissues and cells, rheumatism, kidney stones and other kidney problems, gall stones, colds, pollen allergies, and neuralgia.

Orange is associated with passion, creativity, abundance, freedom, personal expression, emotional balance, and sexuality, especially feminine and receiving aspects of sexuality. Stones that bring the energies of orange include amber, carnelian, crocoite, fire opal, golden beryl (heliodor), honey calcite, orange calcite, orange spinel, paraparadsha sapphire, peach aventurine, sheelite, sunstone, among others. In color and vibrational healing, orange governs dis-ease and issues of the sexual organs, bladder, bowel, and lower intestine. Orange is associated with the sacral chakra.

Silver is a mineral that is said to mirror the soul, strengthen the connection between astral and physical bodies, and enhance intuitive and psychic energies. Silver is mystically considered to improve speech, bring eloquence. It is also purported to attract, enhance and store the energies of gemstones, as well as draw out negative energies. Silver is related to the moon, and moon energies. Physically, crystal healing lore indicates that silver is has been traditionally used to aid heptatitis treatments, eliminate toxins, expel toxins through the pores, headache, rheumatic pain, nausea and gastritis, obesity, diabetes, and increase assimilation of vitamins A and E.
