Pearl Shorteners BACK IN STOCK Bead Necklace Shorteners

Pearl shortners or bead necklace shortners are fantastic accessories for your jewelry wardrobe. They easily turn a long necklace into a double-strand necklace half the original length.

TIP: The trick with those is to take the string of beads or pearls, fold in half, then place around your neck and then clamp the folded ends together with the pearl shortener as though you were doing a clasp.  

Please note that these pearl shorteners will only work if your necklace is twice the length you need to wear the necklace. It will not adjust to just take an inch or two off.

Pearl shortners got their moniker because they are traditionally used to turn Grandmother's opera length pearls into a more modernly fashionable double length shorter string of pearls. After all, most of us don't go to the opera all that often. :)

Don't let the moniker "pearl shortener" fool you, though! They work just as well with any endless necklace, like the "Power Nuggets" necklaces and even some necklaces with clasps, or a piece of string if you're inclined to wear string.
