The Evil Eye and Evil are idiotic to me, in the sense that you get out of the world what you put into it. So, with the charm here against the Evil Eye, this necklace got its name for protection for that kind of idiocy.

I handcrafted the dangles of Protection from Idiocy from beads of faceted and smooth amethyst, carnelian, lepidolite, citrine, and .925 Sterling Silver. The Evil Eye protection charm and the chain were prefabricated.

This necklace is approximately 18" long and was made with no solders or glue, just craftsmanship to shape the metals so they hold the beads together.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with protection from evil and chaos.
