Sacred Wisdom is a luxurious bracelet that I handmade in the spirit of Lord Ganesha, the Hindu Remover of Obstacles and God of Wisdom. I made it with gorgeous beads of ocean jasper, some with druzy pockets -- that's what the "pits" are, they're little caves hiding druzy crystals, not flaws, and they make the stones more valuable! I also used medallions of Lord Ganesha that are solid sterling silver from Indonesia. There are also other sterling silver and Bali beads incorporated in the design. It took many hours of patiently beading this bracelet and hand-coiling over 25 feet of hair thing sterling wire. Even the sturdy toggle clasp is handmade by me! The dangling ocean jasper decorated bead is a counterweight so that the bracelet will tend to hang right-side up instead of always having the clasp at the top side.

This bracelet is approx 7.5" in length, and fits my 7" wrist nicely with some room to move. If your wrist is bigger I will be glad to add an additional coordinating plain link or two to make it fit your wrist size appropriately, at no additional charge. It can be resized smaller, but that would require removal of a link or two of the current design.

How did I come up with this seemingly oddball price for this bracelet? Even the price is part of the sacred wisdom I've worked to incorporate into this bracelet. In Hindu lore, there are 108 names of Ganesha. So rather than charging the higher price of $399.95 I would have (to cover the many hours work), I chose to put it at a lower price that reflects a multiple of the 108 names of Ganesha. Thanks to Larry, another Ganesha fan, for the suggestion, and you can thank him for the lower price too.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with wisdom and removal of the obstacles in life.

Ocean Jasper is very soothing and helps to love one's self as well as others. It is very healing of the emotions and brings peace of mind. It helps with acceptance of responsibility and increases patience. The circulars patterns on ocean jasper symbolize and help us realize that we are all interconnected and nature is a cyclical pattern. It can also help with circular breathing for healing or meditation. Being a type of jasper, ocean jasper is a very protective stone, and any orbs ("eyes") enhance this in regard to protection from the "evil eye." Physically, ocean jasper is beneficial to the digestion, digestive organs, removing toxins, lessen body odor. Ocean Jasper is related to the heart chakra.

Silver is a mineral that is said to mirror the soul, strengthen the connection between astral and physical bodies, and enhance intuitive and psychic energies. Silver is mystically considered to improve speech, bring eloquence. It is also purported to attract, enhance and store the energies of gemstones, as well as draw out negative energies. Silver is related to the moon, and moon energies. Physically, crystal healing lore indicates that silver is has been traditionally used to aid heptatitis treatments, eliminate toxins, expel toxins through the pores, headache, rheumatic pain, nausea and gastritis, obesity, diabetes, and increase assimilation of vitamins A and E.
