Sunburst from the Deep
Handmade Pendant / Slide for Necklaces

Sunburst from the Deep is an eye-catching pendant / slide that I handcrafted from a rare covellite cabochon, beads of carnelian, citrine, and iolite, and wire of .925 Sterling Silver and .999 Fine Silver. I was tickled that I managed to catch the blue of the covellite in the photo! Covellite can be such a secretive stone that sometimes it's hard to get it to behave for the camera.

This pendant is approximately 3" (76.8 mm) long including the dangling biolette of iolite at the bottom. The bail will accommodate chains up to approximately 7 mm in size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain or add an inexpensive accessory to make it a very versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with relief of anxiety and depression.
