Handmade Pendant for Necklaces

From the mountains of Tibet, this Tibetan "Black" Quartz crystal came to me. It seems almost silly to call this a Tibetan "Black" Quartz crystal, since it's not black at all, but Tibetan quartz that's mined where many have the black inclusions share the energies and are still called "Black Quartz".

I handcrafted a setting for it, making it into a lovely pendant using just the crystal and .925 sterling silver wire.

This pendant is approximately 1.4" (36.1 mm) long including bail which will accommodate chains up to approximately 5 mm in size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain or add an inexpensive accessory to make it a very versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with protection from negative influences.
