Handmade Pendant / Slide for Necklaces

This lovely pendant is definitely something different. The multiple rounded wires make for a swirling, elegant look for Turquoise Treasure. I handcrafted this pendant / slide from a stabilized turquoise cabochon and .925 sterling silver. The flowing lines in it are just wonderful, bringing flowing hair or swirling water currents to mind.

This pendant is approximately 2.1" (53.8 mm) long including bail which will accommodate chains up to approximately 6.5 mm in size. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain, or you can add an inexpensive accessory like a bar pin to use it as a brooch, to make it an even more versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with healing and protection.

Turquoise can also help speed the healing process, and is known as a master healer stone. It is very powerful for grounding and protection also. Turquoise is associated with the throat chakra primarily.

Silver is a mineral that is said to mirror the soul, strengthen the connection between astral and physical bodies, and enhance intuitive and psychic energies. Silver is mystically considered to improve speech, bring eloquence. It is also purported to attract, enhance and store the energies of gemstones, as well as draw out negative energies. Silver is related to the moon, and moon energies. Physically, crystal healing lore indicates that silver is has been traditionally used to aid heptatitis treatments, eliminate toxins, expel toxins through the pores, headache, rheumatic pain, nausea and gastritis, obesity, diabetes, and increase assimilation of vitamins A and E.
