"Komboloi" Greek Style Worry Beads

How did I get started making komboloi? Simple! A number of people asked for a style of comfort beads / worry beads designed so that the beads move on the string they're on. While some of my unique style comfort beads / worry beads are now made to move along their string, I wanted to explore a different style that was new to me and initially dedicated historically as strands of worry beads with moving beads. I remembered seeing friends from the Mediterranean and Middle East using komboloi years ago, and after I did some research, I started this line of comfort beads / worry beads in the style of the Greek Komboloi.

All of my Komboloi are individually handmade. Komboloi are also excellently suited as gifts for men, because tradition is that they are used by men.
