Hand Positions for Energy Healing - Head and Neck Positions
Contact Position

Hand Position 1
To begin a treatment, you make gentle contact with the client by sliding your hands under their shoulders. This will help warm your hands and give you a sense of how the client will react to your touch and the Reiki energy.
The head hand positions are designed to be a continue flowing motion without the hands ever leaving the client's body.
Eye Position

Hand Position 2
The second hand position is to cover the eyes with your fingers, resting your palms gently on the forehead of the client. To find this position, you place your thumbs together and place them above the bridge of the nose with your index fingers on each side of the nose.
Be careful not to press on the nose as it can be uncomfortable for the client and may cut off their ability to breathe.
